Dear Yankee Fan,

I know you are all excited about your recent aqusitions. I also know you all thrive on be hated for all of the money the Yankee's have. Well,  enjoy it while you have it. Your team will be the end of Major League Baseball as we know it today. The next step will not be baseball expansion, but, the elimination of teams. baseball will implode! There will be only a handfull of teams that will be fighting for that almighty dollar. As our economy is going down the tubes, so will peoples use of their money. So the greatest game ever invented will be gone as it is going today. Maybe that is a good thing. Lets bring back the game in its purest form where money is not the important issue but the actual playing of the game. They (as well as politicians) should all work real jobs and then feel privileged to even play professioanlly. Pro sports is ruining this country and the New York Yankees epitimizes what is wrong with sports! Enjoy it while you have it Yankee Fan.

Well until MLB feels the effects this won't happen. People still keep buying tickets and going to games. However we are seeing the effect in Basketball where players are playing overseas because the contract offers are higher. This is why the MLB needs a Salary cap. If they don't like it...they can go overseas....We saw how well that worked out for Nenad Kristic...F'*&%*ing baby now he's back. All these pro players need a reality check and that won't happen until people stop going to games which is happening in the NBA but not so much MLB yet...Good story though.

I am a life long Clevelander and have followed the Browns,Cavaliers,and Indians my whole life. For those of us that have lived through "the drive","the fumble" and "the shot" we have been through alot of broken promise. The Indians get to the threshold of winning it all and then in the off season proceed to do nothing. The results are evident this year. The same can be said about the Cavs. The make it to the championship and in the off season they do nothing,they were a shell of there former selves.I do no the did try too late to make something happen. Again being re-active rather than pro-active. That brings me to the Browns. This is the only Cleveland franchise that seems to have a plan. Phil savages is building a championship and doing it with players that can anchor both lines and have weapons for a quarterback to utilize. The overall defense seems to be the weak link, however, as a long time fan, I am encourage and hopeful about the upcoming season, sorry to say I do not have those same feeling abouot the other two franchises.
